High throughput computed tomography examination

The ZEISSVoluMaxCT system is designed for applications that require rapid inspection of many components. Zeiss customizes machines and software to adapt to testing work. ZEISSVoluMax can be configured for manual and automatic loading.

Test directly in production

Zeiss inline CT scanners can perform 100% inspection of plastic and light metal components manufactured in the production process - even in harsh production environments. They will automatically provide good/bad evaluations to filter out unusable components. During CT sequence examination, many different product functions can be captured and saved.

Important measurement project experience

Many projects for CT inspection of plastic, metal, and composite components have been implemented using the ZEISSVoluMax system. For example, the ZEISSVoluMaxCT scanner checked the dimensional stability of plastic parts, examined the air holes and sand residue in the cylinder head, and was used to test whether the airbag was assembled correctly. The Zeiss VoluMaxCT solution can also perform 100% online testing and test a large number of random samples online.

Replace multiple checks with one scan

One important advantage of 3D tomography is that it can replace multiple complex individual examinations. Only one scan is needed to check for size changes, discontinuities, inclusions, and various deformations. The cycle time only takes a few seconds. By using ZEISS software, you can effectively utilize ZEISSVoluMax and fully utilize its potential. The user interface (ZEISSMETROTOMOS) has been simplified so that well-trained production workers can easily and safely operate the CT system. ZEISSCALYPSO and ZEISSCT visualization software can be used for the quantitative evaluation of CT data. The ZEISSPiWeb quality data system can be used to further process the results.
